Hi there, that's great that you're getting into golf more! It's an amazing sport that you can play for life. I've golfed for about 10 years now, and when I worked a golf course, the pros raved about Callaway clubs, and are the clubs I now swear by. This will add up to more than $700, but believe me, quality is most important, get clubs that will last. I've actually seen golfers break the heads off cheap clubs when taking a swing. Here's my picks:

Callaway Big Bertha Irons - $499.99 (on sale at)
Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Driver - $299.99 (also on sale!)
Callaway Fairway Wood - $299.99
Odyssey White Hot XG Putter - $139.99 (I love Odyssey putters!!)

Hope that helps, enjoy golfing!

visit, they have the best deals anywhere. Everyone is going to say go to the golf shop and hit a bunch of clubs and see which are the best, but I bet you anything that you will hit the clubs that look the best to you better than the other clubs you hit. Find some that look good to you, get the right flex, then when you get them, don't plan on them being instantly a cure to all of your golf problems. Know that you have to be reasonable in your expectations of our clubs, and enjoy the game.

It really depends on which brand/model you are most comfortable with. You may end up buying another set in another year or two as you improve your swing and get more comfortable.
Try a good iron set like Nike Sumo or CCI, Callaway Big Bertha , or Taylormade maybe preowned in great condition. --7/bid--16/iron-set/nike.aspx--16/nike-golf-equipment.aspx--4/callaway-golf-equipment.aspx
etc...

your skill level should determine the type of clubs you buy. if you do not strike the ball well, you should get any type of wide soled irons. if you prefer nike, you should look into the slingshot irons. as for the driver and woods, they really should match as far as the brand goes because different brands perform slightly differently than others. i would recommend any square driver because they are the most forgiving. ex. nike sumo² driver and 5 wood

My Top Flite set is great. It was only $250 bucks and included a bag. I have no need for the bag since I use my school bag, but there are great clubs. They have a nice, thick back for more force, great angle and the putter is very accurate. As for a Driver, I would go with a Wilson Staff. Any will do. As for the hybrids, they are great. This set also includes fairway woods. BTW I am 15 years old.
