The quality should be decent at least. Keep in mind however, golf clubs can be viewed as a very personalized set of tools. IMHO, you should consider yourself informed now, that he may or may not be interested in that brand, model, look, color, or feel. Please, please don’t be offended if he has another set in mind and keeping a gift receipt would be a very cool way to say you understand and are fine with that.
That being said, Wilson makes a good product overall. Most new clubs are built to be much easier to play than even 5 years ago.
