I realize you are asking about places in Austin but you simply cannot beat Ebay for golf club prices. That would be my first choice. If you are a beginnner golfer, used clubs are probably your best bet. Dont waste you money going to a pro shop and having the golf pro set you up with 1000.00 set of clubs.

Check out Golfsmith on I-35. They have a good selection and a knowledgeable staff. Also Academy has a nice selection of decent clubs at reasonable prices. Compare prices on either E-Bay or Craigslist before buying.

Golfsmith is HQ in Austin, so that would be your best bet for all you golfing needs.
